Early Intervention Help for Parents
I provide services in Spokane, Washington State to parents and educators who want to provide intensive intervention for a child who is diagnosed with Autism or another disability, or who has behaviors or challenges for which parents want help.
My Philosophy, In a Nutshell...
- Start as young as possible.
- Work intensively to give the child daily help with change.
- Start with high expectations and adjust them if needed based on the child's emerging potential.
- Keep parents and families at the center of any interventions.
Is Your Child Age 12 Months to 11 Years With Any Of These Diagnoses?
- Autism (also called Autism Spectrum Disorder).
- Pervasive Developmental Disorder (also called Pervasive Developmental Disorders, PDD, PDD-NOS, mild Autism, or Autism PDD).
- Asperger Syndrome (also called Aspergers, Aspergers Syndrome, misspelled as Asbergers, or sometimes classified as “High Functioning Autism”).
- Social Skills challenges
- Other disabilities which share the above difficulties such as ADHD
- No diagnosis, but difficulties in interacting with others, attention, eye contact, play skills or social skills.

- Gathering key information from teachers, caregivers, etc.
- Assessment, including observation at home, preschool, school or elsewhere.
- Diagnosis, if appropriate.
- Referrals.
- Information/referrals on the Autism Biomedical intervention process.
- Parent, family, and student/caregiver training on:
- Interacting with child to improve relationships, behaviors and daily functioning.
- Setting up and running home interventions.
- Student training.
- Direct one-on-one work with you and your child.
