Deborah Skalabrin, MSW, LICSW

Rates
Costs:
Telehealth/video or phone session
50 minutes, usually weekly
$185 per session
NOTE: Support for legal or adversarial proceedings such as divorce or child custody are not a part of my services.
Out-of-network on insurances:
I am no longer in-network on insurances, so I am "private pay" and "out-of-network." This means you pay the session fee at the time of service, and you can then contact your insurance using a monthly statement I provide, to repay you some of that fee, if you have viable out-of-network coverage. I can help you determine in advance if you have this coverage and the amount it would reimburse you.
If you do not have viable "out-of-network" insurance coverage, the above session fee applies. I do not offer a sliding scale at this time.
Checking your insurance coverage to see if you
have "out-of-network" reimbursement benefits:
If you believe you might have out-of-network coverage, below are some questions to ask when you call your insurance company. You may also find this information in your benefits booklet or through your employer's insurance coordinator:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
-
Is there a separate deductible for out-of-network?
-
How much is it?
-
How much have I already met for the plan year?
-
-
What is your maximum allowable charge for Code 90837-95 (Telehealth individual psychotherapy)?
-
How much do you reimburse for that code, out-of-network, once my deductible is met?
-
Note: If an insurance quotes you a percentage, such as "50%", sometimes they mean they will reimburse 50% of the actual fee, but often they mean they will reimburse 50% of their "maximum allowable charge." For example, if they say they will reimburse 50%, and their "maximum allowable charge" is $150, they would reimburse 50% of $150, or $75 for each session, and you would pay the rest. This is just an example. Insurance companies have different rules and ways to calculate, so be sure to verify the actual dollar amount you will be reimbursed per session.

How many visits do I have per year?
-
Do I need a written referral from my Primary Care Physician?

"Completely changed how I parent, and it has changed our lives!"
Deborah Skalabrin has been the absolute best thing to happen to our family. She has worked with my kids and myself on issues such as ODD, OCD, and general anxiety. The transformation of our entire family in just a few short months of really applying what we learned in the sessions has been life altering! The principal has stopped calling.....the yelling and screaming has stopped......the running from me has stopped......the angry outbursts where my child would throw items across the room has stopped! She completely changed how I parent, and it has changed our lives!

"Seriously saved us!"
Deb has seriously saved us! After being on waitlists forever to get in with different therapists and spending a few months with one who could never get my son to talk to her, we finally got in with Deb and I don't know where we'd be today if she hadn't squeezed us in! Deb has a special gift of communicating and connecting with children. I wish I had a fraction of her patience and skill! The time and love she put in with our son and family is priceless. THANK YOU DEB!
